Nick Rogles is the Co-Owner of Terralab, serving as the head of operations and finances, and managing several design projects. Since 2008, Nick has accumulated a broad range of expertise in public and private-practice landscape architecture, while working in both a traditional firm setting and design-build. His professional experience has led to a greater understanding of the client-designer-contractor relationship and its importance in the project process. Nick’s project background spans the state of Texas and the southern states. Projects have varied and include urban waterfront development, public parks, recreational facilities, and master-planned communities.

Nick’s inspiration for design revolves around healthy living. He uses design as a way to connect users with the environment to create healthy lifestyles, while promoting the overall health of the contextual landscape. His design philosophy stems from years of pushing himself to explore challenging new outdoor sports and activities, and once hiked and snowboarded down The Highland Bowl in Aspen, Colorado! Nick attended Kansas State University, where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, with a secondary degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. He is also a licensed landscape architect in the State of Texas.
