Carissa Fryer

Carissa Fryer, a self-described plant enthusiast, brings a joy for the outdoors and outdoor living to our team. Her undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University focused on plant and landscape systems. She was part of the first place team in 2022 at the National Collegiate Landscape Competition. After graduating from BYU, she earned her Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University. Her focus at A&M was multi-generational park and playground design. We’re excited to have her as part of our design team.

Carissa draws her inspiration from immersive experience in built and natural environments. Adventures include: living in Manaus, Brazil in the Amazon for a year between studies, family camping trips from her youth, mountain-biking, hiking, kayaking, and much more. In her free time between travels, she always has at least one art project on the books and cooking with her husband Caleb.
