Forrest Hunt is a multi-faceted talent at Terralab, working in all aspects of our design business. His main focus is project design & management, but also has a hand in business development. Forrest has spent the last 11 years working in private practice in Houston, on projects across North America. His experience has allowed him to work on a variety of projects including resort & hospitality, medical, higher education, and award-winning master planned communities.
Forrest is inspired by community building and participation. He has been involved in numerous local groups such as the Midtown Management District, Buffalo Bayou Partnership, Rice Design Alliance, and Bike Houston. Establishing a connection to local communities is very important to him, especially as it relates to our work in landscape architecture. He's also very much inspired by the natural environment. Forrest incorporates an ecological design approach in each project he touches. He has worked with the National Wildlife Federation, undergoing habitat steward training and assisting with community events. He often enjoys the outdoors through cycling, hiking, and camping, and in 2015, hiked and camped for 5 days on the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal! Forrest graduated with a BLA from Oklahoma State University in 2013.
