Scope:
Terralab was tasked with upgrading the pedestrian areas and streetscape for the building as it undergoes a re-positioning effort in the Houston office marketplace. The property is located in the Uptown-Galleria area of Houston.
Impact:
The plans call for a nearly complete overhaul of the existing site's landscape, while preserving the existing groves of pines and understory trees where possible. A new and very much improved outdoor gathering space and walkway connects the building's new ground floor cafe to the exterior and provides access from nearby properties to the eatery. The existing plaza in the rear of the building is renovated for drainage and landscape improvements. Additionally, an overhaul of the furnishings allows for outdoor meetings, lunches, and breaks for the tenants.
