Scope:
Terralab partnered with BBA Architects to create a dynamic and comfortable garden space with the courtyard of the new office building at Entergy's Willis, Texas power plant. The site had many challenges ranging from grading constrictions and proximity to a power plant!
Impact:
Our work consisted of the screening of off-site power facilities and total building surround landscape to achieve a cohesive outdoor environment. Terralab utilized drought tolerant and native plantings, recycled crushed concrete, natural stone seating, and moveable furnishings to complete the vision. The courtyard is enjoyed inside and out by the employees and guests visiting the office.
